1970 volvo amazon 2 door...1uz vvti

Hi all just picked up a 2 dr volvo amazon fairly cheap...I would like some advice if possible...
1...fitting a 1uz vvti 4.0 and cutting the bulkhead if needed...also I would like to junk the vague steering box set up and would like to fit a rack and pinion and also better front brakes...
Any help pics would be greatly appreciated....thanks...happy Christmas...

I bet I've already seen some early volvo with 1uz in it here at Lextreme. That thread was very informative with lots of pictures, try searching the forum.

I think you will find the heads may be too wide for the engine bay but a tape measure will tell you.
