Any links etc to the 700 series volvo v8 swaps?? seen a few for the 200 series but nothing for the later 700.
I have a 740 I am giving it a heart transplant and have looked at the chev small block (too heavy), LS1 (nice but at moment too much $$$), Ford small block (nice) toyota v8 ( mount and sump mods req?) 1J and 2J 6 cyl motors (motor length ?), holden V6 ( cheap motors) holden V8 ( clearence issues with rear mounted distributer)
Im leaning towards the ford due to a kit being available and heaps of parts around, cost and can be made a lot lighter, alloy heads etc
I havent found any info/mounts for the toyota v8, anybody have any or done this swap??
