Hi all, I have a new project now and would like some space in the shed. I am have my holden ht ute for sale. The ute has many modifiactions aimed at drag racing. The motor is a Lexus 1UZ-FE. It has been turbocharged with a super t70 turbo and an air to air intercooler. The engine management is a wolf 3d version 4. The trans is an asin a341le which has been modified to manually shift. The diff is a btr 78 taken from a vp commodore, with 3.08 gears and lsd. Front brakes are hq holden. Interior has a gts dash and gts steering wheel with brougham door trims. Seats are buckets taken from a honda. This ute requires an engineers report to be completed for registration. It will be sold with no rego. The best time I have recored down the quarter is 12.6 @119mph. Which with a higher stall convertor and a shift kit in the trans an 11 sec pass is quite possible. If you are a genuine buyer please email me and we can arrange inspection. This ute has very minimal rust in it as it has recieved a full floor replacement from firewall to tailgate. I can be contacted at [email protected].
Here I have a link to a write up on the ute

Its up on ebay at the moment. As it dosent have an engineers report it makes it worth a lot less to a prospective buyer. Im starting advertising it at a price more than what I think the market value would be, but better to start higher and work down. Ive got $13,000 au on it but best not reveal just yet what Im prepaired to go down to. I figure this ute would fetch arround $5000 with a standard motor in it, and I know this conversion could not be carried out in a conversion shop for under $6000 to $7000. Whats other peoples thoughts?

Krayn, any car is hard to sell at the moment and a modified, unengineered car would not be easy at the best of times. I've sold modified cars previously in good markets and have never made any money from them. I just consider it a cost of enjoying the project.

Anyway, the work you've done looks quality and the fact its a proven package having registered decent times should help. Never hurts to start high and allow yourself some negotiation space. Good luck.

Havent had it on the dyno with the higher boost, made 320 hp at 6 psi, now running 11 psi. quarter mph indicate over 400 rear wheel. from a 96 crown
