managed to get the engine out and am currently sorting out the gear box and TC just cut the out put shaft from the lexus. loking to put a 1 1/2" body lift on as other say it gives more room in pushing the engine back and more rrom for rad etc. are you going to do this or do you already had a lift on?
Please explain how this is the hard way?

hand brake looks great well cant see it so great its out the way! ended up doing the 2" body lift lots of room now! what exhaust manifolds do you have on? they arent the standard LS400 ones. do have to confess it is a little tight around the steering with the standard exhaust manifolds!
what you doing about the sump i am getting one fabricated as the steering damper is in the way!

Engine Parts Replacement
Replaced the following parts on engine:
- Water Pump
- Cam Belt
- Tensioners
- Idlers
- Spark Plugs
- Rotors & Caps
- Starter Motor contacts
- Accessory Belt
Removed gears from inside of Hydraulic Fan Pump:
Air Conditioning Pump Fitted (wifes request)
Removed Traction Control parts from Throttle Body.
Still sorting wiring.
Replaced the following parts on engine:

One I did earlier in the year, 1UZ into 94 KZN130 Surf. 96 should be 185 series which did come out with a 2UZ in them in 4runner form so parts to fit can be gotten via Toyota at a premium obviously. Almost bought a brand new one in Manila and lesson learned there was "do not listen to the wife!"
