hi guys,
from my understanding, lsd was a very limited option on the early ls400's.
i had done a lot of running around an reading to work out how to move away from the single legger std diff to a lsd or locker?
you can not swap the guts around, as a ls400 diff is a 8 3/4" diff where the supra is a 8" diff, not sure if the GS center will work, didnt look at those diffs?
the only options i had then was
1 install a supra diff
2 custom KAAZ diff center
i was able to pick up a 97 torsen supra diff very cheap ( i have friend that import wreaked jap cars), about half price to what a kaaz diff center would off costed, so i went that way.
being a fitter/welder, no problem with installation an fab work
KAAZ diffs are available for FWD, RWD and 4WD vehicles and are available in three versions - 1 Way, 1.5 Way & 2 Way.

- 1 Way is effective under acceleration only
- 1.5 Way is effective on acceleration and semi-locking on deceleration giving precise vehicle control
- 2 Way is effective on acceleration and deceeleration producing more understeer making it suitable for drifting and high speed road use.
