I decided to bite the bullet and build a UZA80
I decided i liked the look of a black wingless supra. Sourcing one isn't hard, plenty are around. Figuring it would be more cost effective not to buy a twin turbo, I picked up this non turbo/5 speed recently.







I eventually get a set of Work vs-kf rims which i like the look of much more than my hp designs.
I'm not sure where i'll go with the brakes, i think i'll just buy a set of std twin turbo brakes.
I recently purchased a 1UZ from judd on these forums. he has bundled a great package of goodies together.. (thanks again mate)
Ross forged pistons 8.5:1 CR
Argo forged billet rods (I beam)
ARP head studs
ARP rod bolts
Adaptronic e420c ECU
Professionally ported heads, extensive work on Inlet, clean up on exhaust
Also came with a full 1uz, Toyota seal rebuild kit, MLS gaskets, new mains bearings and rod end bearings etc

I'm not sure if i will use a supercharger or turbo setup. I'm leaning towards a supercharger setup at the moment.
I'm keen to use the Tremec T56 gearbox for this setup. Rush imports is working on an adaption kit to suit, hopefully it will be a decent price. I have a LSD rear end sorted. It will take some time to get sorted, good amount of info around now a couple people have done this conversion. I'll try keep this thread up to date. Any tips or info is appreciated
