Standalone ECU trig and sync connection

having throuble with ems 8860 ecu on crown 1uz (no spark)
Can someone please tell me if the crank sensor is the trig output or is the cam sensor. I am using the left bank cam sensor or should i be using the right bank. not registering any rpm when cranking. also do the ignition coils fire when voltage drops or when it rises.

Tom get hold of Cobra he had a simler problem with the ems
the crank is the speed(rpm ecu) sensor and the cam is sync witch triggers the ecu you can use the left or right cam sensor it depends on your trigger ofsets
i think cobra used the RHS and i use the LHS
also make sure you have wired the sensons right red wire=+ white= -
