No worries Jib, I finally found an SC to play with! Glad too see your back in action.

That's good news. I felt kinda bad for dangling that carrot in front of you.. My intentions were true though.. I would have given the car up if it had been anything more then a busted timing belt.

I have a lack of patience out in southern colorado, there is just nothing there besides CSU, LOL. When you think Colorado you think of the beautiful great outdoors but out here it's more like Victorville CA... flat, tree-less and no towns for 30miles. One day I stumbled upon this track called Greeleys outside of town that costs $20/day and only requires a helmet for their road racing track so I decided to somehow grab an SC and make it track worthy over summer break. Thanks for the consideration tho, it got the creative juices flowing once I realized how fun an SC400 out here culd be.


So what are the plans for your overhaul Jib? Any new mods? Maybe some more spray??

No man, just a ride with a little pep these days is my SC4... No more spraying or racing for me, unless I get that wild itch again. Been there done that already, I think I'm getting old or something or maybe I just don't want to get in trouble with the law. I figure I've been pretty lucky and blessed thus far and don't want to push my luck anymore .

Colorado is very nice.. Very Country and great skiing as well in many parts. Denver is a little hokie, John Elway motors everywhere you look, Durango is nice, Aspen is foo foo, Boulder is cool too. Rockies are something to see. I've visited Colorado many times and like it..

I remember I even stayed on a farm for two weeks near the Colorado river, great time and a first, I watched a horse give birth, milked a cow, shot the head off a ground gopher, and even chopped wood. Got a taste of farming and loved that.. Beautiful State.. Affordable housing too

Race cars aren't made to last. Modded cars last while they're still modded. Un-modded cars last while they're still under warranty. LOL.

I just talked with Lex an hour ago and he says he's trying to sell for around $4,000 w/o the stroker motor (standard 95' UZ).
