Going to swap in the 1uz. Hopefully this week I can pick it up. Automatic backed by PreRunner adapter to toyota gear t-case.

Still reading and trying to understand standalone wiring. Not a wiring person at all, figured I would try my hand at it and see if I can have a better understanding on it. Going to run a RADesign shifter to bypass the TCM. Once I get my hands on a motor I'll start a thread on it.

Spend the money to do it right and use a different case I've wasted so much money to out a Toyota 5 speed manual tranny with dual cases behind my 1uz and regret it and its not even done yet

Im using the stock auto transmission behind the 1uz, then using inchworm's prerunner adapter to mate an old gear driven case behind it. They make the adapter for the lexus trannys to run a transfercase.
