I was really just stating what happened when all the Lightning units failed.
I agree there's a potential to hydraulic an engine due to an intercooler leaking it's contents into the motor when it's off. I don't see it would be too much of a problem whilst the engine is running as the engine would pass the water pretty quickly. I would say quicker than the intercooler could leak it.
Perhaps a low water sensor that shuts the motor down would be some insurance?
