I have done a remote turbo in my Aussie v8.
It works awesome, but I have a small oil problem
I do not have a sump under the turbo, it just plumbs straight to the tilton pump, it does have an air bleed between the turbo and pump.
it then pumps up to the motor.
it seems to blow smoke through the seals.
it is a garret gt35/40r,
i have a 1mm oil restrictor on the inlet line and that helped
i think the oil sits in the turbo and bleeds through the gap in the oil control rings in the turbo.
I think the sump people have talked about is the go.
Can someone who has done this give me some specifics on the oil return system please.
I have done a search and see what people have said and done, but no real specifics.
