Idle Air Valve

Hi All,
Can you test a valve off the engine.
6 wire one off a 1994 none VVTI engine.

yes. Manual method - Power it up. Connect the circuits and pulse them at the right time. I can do it by just touching them on and off the battery at the right time. Took a little practice to get it right.

Or I use an aftermarket ECU thats been wired up and flick all my spare units through it.
