H55F Bellhousing adapter for 2UZ?

Hey, I'm new here.
anyway, I'm rebuilding a 1972 FJ40, with a 350 Chev block in it, but I'd rather it be all-toyota, and my interest in a Toy V8 brought me here. I like the toyota motors available, but I'm not so happy with the fact that they're auto-only. has anyone tried fabricating a transmission, or bellhousing adapter for the Toyota H55f 5-speed to a 2UZ?

Can't you buy them new from Toyota?

There is a bellhousing, but it is not for H55, I beleive its for the 100 series transmission? R series?

The povo spec 100 series use the R series, but I thought the upper spec ones used the H box ?

I have one for sale for 50 bucks. The quality is very good I can assure ou. Bolt holes line up perfectly. Top shelf in my opinion.

Let me know if interested. Even including freight, you'll still be streets ahead.

So whats the H55F pattern the same as?

H42, they are both land cruiser transmissions. H42 is a 4 speed that came in US spec FJ40 & FJ60, H55F is a 5 speed that came in AUS and CAN spec, probably others.
