Fix? Keep? or Sell?

Guys,

I currently have three cars/van and my wife has one SUV. Recently I traded my other SC400 with a BHG SC300. The body is very good and just need a paint job. However, having 4 cars/van is just little too many. I love my Van, SC400 and LS400 and now.. and new car entering my garage.

This car was overheated and the seller/trader had the head machined and ready to be install. Here are some pictures:




Here is my dilema.

* Fix it and sell it?
* Fix it and keep?
* Fix it and turbo it?

looks like a fixer to me if you have all the parts. Just bolt it back together, tint the headlights, touch up the paint, a quick detail and your in the money.

Find a 3L replacement motor (the 2JZ-GEs go for cheap), install it, paint it, detail it, and sell it.

There are few gains to be made with a performance swap since most "mods" do not give you your money back. But, for the cost of a replacement motor and a few quarts of paint, you should be able to make a buck as the car will be very clean.

What transmission is in the car? Stick I say keep, auto I say sell.
