This was the headline on the story of the Ferrari meeting the pole in adelaide the other day. The driver and passenger had to get out and walk.

The pole is refered to a a "stobbie" pole. It is built of steel "C" section each side with concrete in the centre. It is designed to resist termites, and Ferraris.

Actually the car is quite repairable as the front is easilly cut off and a new factory jigged front stiched back on.

Glad he wasn't my client as I would estimate $150,000.00 to repair it but it is a repair.

I'm sure the driver drove very fast in that little street. He looks like he belongs to an oil company family, so it won' be a big deal. I think he cracked the cement of the pole.
