I have been playing around with the Headerdesign.com calculator, the headers i bought from a local guy were home made 4 to 1 with 1.6 ID and are about 36" to the front of the collector cone.
Does anyone have a head off that could be measured i need the exhaust port length from the valve seat to the flange for a 1uz.
I have had a good search but can't find it on the site.
Jbrady suggests 1.6 I/D primary tube is two big and i tend to agree, The program suggests 1.2" ID primaries, my setup may end up with 2 turbos or not, so could i go with 1.2 for N/A , or 1.6 for turbos, seems a shame to dump the existing 1.6 headers, also does anyone understand what they mean by collector inside diameter ,they give you a figure of 1.92 do they mean this is the size of the collector body where the reducer meets the collector tube, as shown in their schematic.
As you can see below i have set the hp @250 at 5600 according to the 1uz spec page. I am aiming for peak HP at about 5000.
