Hello all,
I'm looking to see how screwed I might be... I pulled a 1UZ from a '95 LS400 for a project vehicle, but never thought about needing the vehicle side of the downstream O2 sensor harnesses.
1) I assume you should have downstream O2 sensors installed.
2) The state/county I live in requires a yearly smog test. As well, once I eventually get this transplant finished I need to take the vehicle to the emissions lab for a visual and running smog test. All factory emissions need to be installed and "functional."
Can I make my own wire harness relatively easily? I'm unsure where the left and right harnesses for downstream O2 sensors connect to? If I cannot make these harnesses how much of the factory harness do I need to pull from a different donor vehicle as I have already scraped the '95 donor.
