Final assembly done and exhaust finished.
Flexible intake tube is not ideal but is functional and will do the job till I can get a custom airbox made up.
All fluids in and no leaks.
Next stop-Kelvin will work his magic on it.
Now that it's running theres a lot more to do.
AVIS solenoid that sits under the intake manifold doesn't work so it's a bit gutless down low. So Manifold has to come off(Should have listened to Kelvins sage advice in his vid and done that job before putting the engine in the van).
Oxygen Sensor in the exhaust is faulty so it's dumping 20% more fuel on one side. Have to pull the battery tray and pipes out to get the manifold out as the sensor is seized in there.
I left the Diesel muffler on it because I wanted to keep it quiet but it's too restrictive for the V8. A bit like trying to blow through a straw.
Good thing I've got a few weeks of annual leave coming up. I'll be able to get stuck into it.
All those little jobs are done and dusted. Stoked with how well it runs now and just going through cert. Looking forward to having it legal and being able to daily it.
