auto gear selector - what can i use ?

Hey guys ,

im looking at a project it has a 1uz in it now im unsure what the motor is out of it has a front sump and the transmission does not have a splined shaft for tailshaft so i guess we can rule out Crown ,

the car does not come with an auto transmission shifter , can i use one from say an ls400 or a celsior or even a soarer ? is there any differences as far as plugs or funtionality go ?

i dont really want to get a B&M shifter for it prefer just a stocko one

I have a shifter that will fit your transmission. Give me an email and I will send you a picture. Also have the top decal and the shifter rod connector.

i used my factory 1992 hilux auto shifter
worked perfect
just had to lengthen the rod from bottom of shifter to auto box

i guess any shifter that has 1 2 D N R P
and an overdrive switch

only wiring to shifter might be overdrive switch
