Watched some videos from youtube this morning regarding this rocket. I wonder what type of chasis it is made of. Steel or Aluminum.....? It is powered by a Honda 2.0 Type S engine and some version comes with supercharged. Very interesting.....

0-60 = 2.8 sec
1/4 mile = 10.6 sec
60-0 = 99.7 ft
Slalon = 77.4 mph
Skidpad = .90G

The Atom is pretty expensive for those of us on the left side of the Atlantic.

Nice.... Are you still looking into one of those GT40 (replica)? Drooling... Would be nice to run a twin turbo Lexus engine behind the MK1/2. Not the cheapest engine to play with, but most unique for sure....

Still am David, but the V12 engine is moving along even slower than the 2nd V8 ;-) After nearly 2 years, we still don't even have the dry sump sorted.

I really know how to pick engine builders don't I? Both guys do great work, but speed is not part of it.

Those are actually the specs for the Atom 300 where the picture is that of the new Ariel 500. The 300 is a 300hp supercharged 4 cylinder while the 500 is a 2.4 liter supercharged V8 making 500hp and turning 10,000rpm.

Chassis material is "Bronze Welded DOM/ERW Steel Tubing"

With the 300 having a price of $65k... the 500 will be "more expensive"!
