Aluminum Driveshaft

I have one my Supercharged 98 Cobra. I remembered it was like $375. I am thinking if would be benifit the SC400 with this lighter driveshaft.

My only concern with going aluminum would be the ability to have one strong enough for the torque. Is there enough room under there for say a 4" tube?

I am not sure.. gotta do some measurements, but there are few companies will do custom driveshaft.
