75 Corolla update

Well, I finally have something to show. It may not look like much, but I've been working on this EVERY day for the last month and a half--making it fit under the Corolla body, while still making all the Lexus stuff work. It is still only a rough mock up, but all the dimensions seem good so far.

I would have liked to keep the sexy cast aluminum front crossmember, but I have the motor too low and too far back for it to work.

Tomorrow I'll attach front and rear suspension, along with the motor. I'll have more pics soon.

Nothing like starting from scratch. Looking good mate, and understandably time consuming.

It almost looks like something now!!!

I'm probably going to use coilovers instead of the stock struts. I have some bump steer issues to fix up front, then the motor can go back in, then the body goes back on...then a bunch more mock up before it all comes apart so I can do it for real.
