2001 SC430 for the wife - comment

Hi, we are thinking of purchasing a silver on black 2001 Aus New SC430 done 165000k. Asking $34000.

Don't know much about these cars but they look fantastic

Any comments, things to look for, anything good or bad would help. Its not like an HQ to just pop the bonnet and fix something if it goes wrong. So reliability or parts cost supply would be of interest.

By north american standards, that's a lot of money for the car. In Canada you can find early 2000 SC430's in the 20k CAD range with full service history and around 100,000 KM on the clock

By the USD standard a 2001 SC430 runs about 15-17k

Yep, I'll probably pick a 2001 SC430 up one of this days. I was recently looking at a few and even drove in a couple.. Nice rides.. A little small though..
