Hello,
I think I made a mistake...
I changed the rear main seal on the cranckshaft of my LS400 1UZ first engine.
I watched a video from CartuneNZ and he used an hammer to be sure that the seal go all the way until the stop inside the plate.
But after, I saw a tuto from Lexls and it says that the seal should be even to the edge.
Do you know if it could be problematic and it will leak?
I am scared that the seal is too deep and the lip doesn’t touch the cylindrical part of the crankshaft.
Thank you
