T56 tob

I have a t56 tob and am looking at fitting it to my w58 gearbox thats using the 1uz auto bellhousing with an adaptor plate to mate upto my 1uzfe engine,it looks like i need to cut the w58 35mm input shaft off as the t56 is 30mm then make a plate to fit and mount the bearing on,has anybody already done this and can give me some advice and poss pictures before i go diving in with the angle grinder and f*ck something up
