if the motor is back far enough you can fit the standard sway bar, ( we fitted the one on a mates ute but when my ute was na i couldnt fit it cause the motor was to far forward ) tie rod has never hit anything ? you mean the steering rod the goes between each side ? thats jsut a cut out sump to...
one on each side, its going to reqire a few cuts out of the guards hear and there but not so much that i cannot still sit low on my 19's and not have it rub:D working my arse off to get it to powercruise in november (FINGERSCROSSED )
just tacking manifold together now but got pissed off so...
hahah steering shaft and brake master cylinder are a royal pain in the arse ah! lol im just sitting my turbos in my engine bay at the moment,
have alook at my build thread on v-eight.com for some ideas if you like, i will have some pics up of the turbo mock up hopefully by the end of the day...
just thought id post a piccy of the ones i made and leser cut for mine using nolathane and doing away with the std mounts all together,
they fit perfect but iv ended up making a change to lower the engine, just waiting on the lower mounting bracket to get recut so it will sit lower :)
brand new 650ftlb rated tr-6060, tr 56's are actully raited twice as high as v160/161, they can take up to 700ftlbs standard. and with my 4.1 diff the double over dive will be fantastic (that 3k nzd )
preference, if adaptors were so great then no body would bother spending 2-3 times the price on bellhousings to wit w and r series boxes would they ? just my 2 cents :D
only thing similar is the manufacturer :P, massivley different bolt paterns, it has a one inch longer input the then std t56 ( ecept the dodge one ) unless you get a short shaft one which is 6.5" too.
quite a few around mate, one guy i know of on here has one ain a supra ( just a t56 not from viper but same thing ) and theres a few others floating about
