Soak the motor and mechanism with it. It gave new life to my front driver's side window, and yes...it got stuck during a thunderstorm.

haha i had a garbage bag over mine for like 2 days, and in richmond at school!!!! but no 1 touched it...i got creative too and proped it finally.
but my switch makes a buzzing noise, so i think thats my problem..

Had a similar problem where window motor ran but would not go up. On examining I found that the "teeth" were worn down. Solution: I have a 1993 Toyota 4runner that I use for parts for my car as there are a number of thte same parts for my celsior/ls400. I used the motor from the 4runner, it has worked perfectly ever since. Note: buying that part from Toyota instead of Lexus can save a ton of money.
