I am going to install a wideband air/fuel gauge and im looking for the best location. I want to keep the 4 stock o2 sensors and im fine with just monitoring one bank at a time (i might install 2 sensors and change the plug back and forth to monitor both banks independently) My current setup is headers to cats to y pipe to turbo (where muffler used to be)

Anyone please chime in, your .02 cents worth will be appreciated

Thanks

Somewhere before the cats will be fine. Dont put the second sensor in. It's no good for the sensor to be left in the exhaust stream and not connected to a controller.

Anywhere in the downpipe after at least 10" from the turbo exhaust outlet is fine. If it's closed to the turbo, the heat will damage the sensor.

I've actually wondered about where on a rear mounted setup.

On my car it's currently in the Y-pipe, but I'm SC'ed and definitely no rear mounted.

I would assume it would just go into the downpipe POST turbo just as any normally mounted turbo
