wheres the engine number on a 131 crown. maybe im just blind but i cant find it.???
also how to tell what year????

Under the front waterbridge. behind the thermostat housing.

A torch will make it easy to read.

ya i just found mine too, under the front water bridge like he said........

If its a 131 crown, then it will be 89-91.
If you have factory plug leads, the date will be on them.

Otherwise, its just a guess.

Cool, My motor was made between july - Aug, in the year or 1992! US Chassis code for our LS400s is UFC10 88-94 or UFC20 94-98

Nah, thats when your chassis was made/stamped.

The motor could have been made a few months beforehand.
