What is the biggest choke point in the 1uzfe?

I guess I am asking what could be changed to up the power the most in stock trim?

I assume cams are mostlikely it?

The 1uzfe really falls short of what other v-8's make in the power/tq dept as the v/e is laughable if you think about it as Honda's make more power in almost stock trim from a 2.0 with no turbo or forced induction:confused:.

Just have been thinking about it lately:)
 
I agree that it is way conservative so if a standalone were to be swapped in place of the stock ems apx how much whp could one pick up?

Haha very true but this is the case with any engine but the 1uz seems to require much more than most.
 
true, but not true at the same time. If you have time to do lots and lots of research, and calling around, and some ass kissing, You can do a lot to the 1uz on a budget.
oh the duality of the 1uz build........
