V8 Nissan 300ZX

Many people are here for the V8 Supra idea.

Well others have taken the same thought and applied it to the Nissan 300ZX by stuffing in a VH45DE into there.

Theres a guy in the U.S that stuffed an LS1 into a 300 and I believe the same has been done here in Aus.

im wiring up a nissan v8 into a hq one tonner next week

factory v8 and factory auto

im pretty sure nissans arent as fidly as toyotas when it comes to the auto

I don't think I coud live with a bit of an N/A engine hanging out of my hood/bonnet.

Only superchargers are supposed to poke out of bonnets.

That looks sad.

Did you happen sell a T5 gearbox today?

Nice work with the 1UZ HZ. Are you doing another with the Nissan or replacing teh 1UZ?

I remember reading somewhere that he was getting a custom hood made to make it fit.

nope i dont sell any mechanical parts

all i do these days is drive round make up looms and wire up import engines

from usa and japan
and some aussie stuff

and full rewire old cars

Oh okay.
I just bought a gearbox off a guy who mentioned he had a orange Datsun 1600 with a special something sitting in the enginebay.

Thoguht you might be one and the same..

There is an S13 Silvia in perth with a VH41 in it I believe.
He had to cut the bonnet to clear the spider thingo too.

There is also a Z31 300ZX with a VH45 manual running around somewhere.
I think that bonnet closed, but I don't know for sure.
