So if people are going to do this v160 swap, what about rear end ratios. I know stock sc400 ratios are to high in the rear 3.92ish for the v160 6th .78ish vs. the auto's .7. So the question is, can the 3.2ish rear carrier from the 5 speed auto lexus's be used on an sc400/300? This would give proper gearing as the supra had 3.13 and jdm's a more aggressive 3.2ish, which is just about right. Also, if a gs400 rear end would go in an sc or even a 98+ sc rear end into an earlier version sc what could one do for limited slip. Could the a factory torsen center be put in the lexus carrier or are there aftermarket lsd's available for the 3.2 rear end? What have sc300 guys with v160 swaps done thus far for the rear end?
