Standalone ECU Tuner in Melbourne Aus

Hi everyone,

I am in the process of doing the 1UZ conversion into a 1993 hilux. Can anyone recommend someone in melbourne to wire up the car with either the standard loom or an aftermarket standalone computer such as the wolf v500 or motec?

Dave,

What engine are you fitting?

Is it a Crown, Soarer or LS400.

They are all pretty easy to wire up if you put a little research into it.

Having it done could cost as much as the motor and having an aftermarket system installed and tuned up to 4 times the cost of the motor.

To do it yourself will cost perhaps $100.00

If your wiring and soldering skills need help surely you have a mate who can assist.

Thanks everyone for their input, you have convinced me to have a go at it myself.

The engine is out of a crown so hopefully will be reasonably straight forward. After posting my question i found the article on wiring the crown motor on this site, very helpful.
