hey all especially those with electrical know how
i thought of a device that would be able to be adjusted so as to control when to change gears
wouldnt be to hard to make if u had the right stuff
basically there would be 2 inputs to unit
one is speed the other is engine rpm
with these two we can control when to change gears
my auto changes gears to early so it bogs down
if anyone knows of a way to make a device that
1st gear changes to 2nd when engine hits 6500 rpm
and also a certain speed and since speed is also an rpm it shouldnt be to hard
so say at 40 kph the speed signal pulse rpm is 2000 pulses then we need a device to change from 1st to 2nd at 6500 engine rpm and 2000 speed rpm
same goes for 2nd to 3rd the engine rpm would be the same but the speed rpm would be much more
this way u can dial in the rpm change and the speed change
only prob is the kick down but for just accelerating at drags with wide open throttle i recon this device could work
like who around here drives at 50 to 75 % throttle
usually its cruising or flat stick
anyway if anyone has any more input please let me know
