ok, im about to buy a 93 ls400. the ecu has been changed. it wouldnt rev and was throwing a code of 47, which is sub tps signal. i figured it meant that the ecu is for a traction controled car with 2 tps sensors, this car does not have traction control. i pushed the tps connector on a lil harder and then it reved and drove fine, but the guy said it wouldnt rev over 4k. the reving over 4k im guessing is a rev limiter of some sort as it was in park. idk, havent checked further. engine ran smooth, pulled hard and everything seemed fine and there were no other codes at all. will i need to find a non traction control ecu? or are they interchangeable?
