TRAC OFF and eng light is on

They both come on together. They do go off once and a while but stay on for the most part. What causes this and how is it fixed?

I don't know if the SC has similar problems with cold solder joints in its dash, but the Supras have this problem. This article/fix that I wrote many years ago for the Supra may help with your SC.
