The project begins: Aussie 4Runner

Well, after last night deciding there's no point procrastinating as I have just about everything sorted now, me and my mate John spent half a day making headway in the extraction.
We went for a drive to Penrith and spoke to the guy whome i'm going to get to do the engine mounts, then came back home and managed to squeeze it in out of the way in the garage. The place where it will live for the next week or so while the engine is pulled, and everything is prepared for the swap...

And finally, the end of day 1. Just about everything is off the motor now, just mucking around with the loom, and it's ready to be pulled..... hopefully....

Yep, I have a mate who's a layer, so I just grabbed a heap. I've been doing it for years now, like you said it makes it a dream to work on....
