My Brother and I are planing to build a T bucket hot rod that will be powered by a 1uzfe and auto out of a crown front cut. We already have most of the parts laying aroud including the engine.
Can anyone tell me what diff ratio the crown used so I can work out what ratio I should use in the hot rod.

My guess is around 3.7 to 1, with my conversion i used a crown motor and auto, i had a cable made that hooked dirictly to the gearbox in place of the original transducer and i am running 3.7 gears with 225/60/15 tyres(about 25.5 inchs tall) , my speedo is very accurate with this setup.
With a T bucket i am assuming you will be running a much taller tyre, as i will when i get the T bucket i am biulding finnished, this of coarse will change everything.

Pretty sure the Crown ran a 3.909 with 205/65/15's.

But anything with in 20% of this figure is acceptable.
