Here is an email i got from a hardcore Tundra owner. He is running 6 psi on a Powerdyne centrifugal blower. Check out the nice work on it....Here is what he said
"I have a kit on my personal Tundra But at 10 psi a piston disintegrated and destroyed my engine I now understand that these motors are not built very well on the top end.
Powder pressure formed pistons and rods that seem to be very light in construction I have decided to go with a Powerdyne centrifugal blower and limit boost to 6 psi I am also talking to Unichip and will have them custom write a piggy back controller to be sold with the kit.
Later I want to offer a built motor using stock balanced crank and forged rods and pistons with an 8.5-1 comp. and got back to the big P1SC Procharger blower. Have you any info on parts availability for the 2UZ-FE motor? Any help would be appreciated If you would like to see some pics of my S/C/ intercooled install let me know and I will send some pics Thanks Rob
