stock sub, 8inch VS 10inch?

I hear that the 1993 LS400 has a 10inch sub stock.

seeing as the body of the car is the same, can I assume that the hole in the parcel shelf of the 1993 would be larger than on a 1990?

oh, yeah, I nearly forgot the main question lol

does this mean that the 1993 third brake light plus subwoofer grill are larger than the earlier one?

I don't have the LS400 but I have the SC400. Mine has 10" sub. From what I heard, the LS has the same sub as the SC. You may click on the search button and type in your keyword. If you have sometimes, you may take out the rear dash cover to find out the truth. Be careful! In my SC, the sub cover can be pried up but the regular speakers can't be pried up. To get access to the regular speakers, the whole dash cover has to be taken out.

remove the trunk pannel covering the gas tank and you'll clearly see what sub is there and what can bolt on there.

pretty easy, just unclip it.

I already know its an 8inch, and the hole isn't big enough for a 10, but I was under the impression that the 1993 LS400 had a 10inch sub, hence my questions about the hole size, and sub grill size...
