This is not directly Lexus V8 Related but it is a Toyota engine. However, I wanted to post here because I know that this forum has a lot fo great minds.
Anyways, the stock oil feed line from the oil pump to the block in the I6 7M-GTE is restrictive and not very large, it uses a banjo type fitting. Would there be any complications in using a SS braided line instead of a hardline. Obviously a hardline would be optimal, however, the SS line is easier and cheaper to fabricate.
The SS line is supposed to hold oil so are there any problems with it being submerged in oil all the time?
