Ok, so im doing all the plumbing in my conversion and im wondering about the coolant pipework.
Theres a small diameter hard pipe that comes out near the thermostat housing goes left (as you look into the engine bay) and then comes out as a rubber hose by the PAS pump.

Just the rubber hose in that image with the tape on it. I asked in the regional chapter and apparently its for the expansion tank. The thing is on the 200SX the expansion tank is filled from the neck of the radiator so im just want to check i can get rid of it. And also if theres a decent way i can just prevent it from opening and ditch all the hosing rather than a lame bolt and jubilee clip in the end of the hose as it will look crap and probably fail.
Also, does this system have a bleed or is it self bleeding?
All help appreciated, cheers
