What size pipeing should i use for the primary's and the crossover pipe ??
i will be making the manifold 4-1 design on each side that then collect into one pipe that feeds the turbo. My previous turbo manifolds i have made i found that when i made one out of mild steel exhuast pipe it didnt last long as it heated up and cracked pritty much on the first run so we then used 3 mm steam pipe this is still working today 3 years later. With the single turbo V8 will the crossover pipe need to be made out of 3mm as well or will normal exhuast pipe suit ??
the weight would be getting up ther if it has to be so would stainless be a better option for the crossover pipes ??
or is ceramic coated exhuast pipe ok ??

what about the wall thickness? so i should run 4 1.5 inch into 2 for the cross then the 2 2 inch into 2.5 ?? wouldnt 2 inch be a little restrictive ?? i was thinking 2.25 for the cross pipe

that site didnt really help me that much
as this is a turbo motor i dont think it really applies
it told me my power was urealistly high 500hp ??

Your membership to HeaderDesign.com will give you everything you need to design header-based exhaust systems for 4-stroke, naturally aspirated gasoline engines.

yes i have

i have seen that but i was planing on running 2 4 -1 style extractors on each side with a cross over pipe.
has that manifold held up alright i thought it would have cracked being so thin and restrictive looking
