hi..please see my post,"dont run to good" in its buggered/diagnose section

swap of 1995 uz into range rover...2nd gen uz..(i have double checked the wiring etc)

now i have no secondary o2 sensors fitted, no cats ..the ecu if asked throws out codes 27 and 29..ie faulty secondary 02 sensors...

do i actually nee them fitted to allow the engine to run properly?(cos it does not, misses and large flat spot with i think over fueling)

if it does , i will fit them..however if not can some one give me the expected output voltage they should be reading so i can make a do dar to fool the ecu into thinking its running in tolerence..ie shold it be 2v etc...

axtually what voltage range do both the primarys and secondarys run at? 0-1v 0-0.5v or 0-5v??

thanks

you should not need the rear o2s for it to work properly
u need to work out whats wrong
is it a miss
is it missing on a plug lead
is it missing cause of injector
is it running bad on all cylinders
there could be a million reasons unfortunetley u need to find out
even with front o2s it should still run ok

pull the plugs out and check to see if they are all black
or if they seem ok
check to see all injectors are clicking and flowing

Thanks sideshow, but as far as my 4Runner goes, there is no miss, just smells rich and lacks power down low and through the midrange. Sorry for the hijack zen.

engine running lovely now...except for fuel pump issue( see diagnoise section)

for the record turned out to be faulty new plug...
