Rough Idle flat spot and running rich 1uzfe

Hey all,
Been a member for a while but havent been around here.
Just got a question for you all.
I have a 93 4 runner that i have nearly finished putting a 1uzfe in and I am trying to wire up the speedo. There are 3 terminals on my speedo and only 1 sense wire on the gauge so im guessing one is sense, one is 12v battery and the last one i think is earth.
Can any one shead some light here

Also my 1uzfe has problems idling after it is hot and if you plant it it gets to 3000rpm fine but then flat spots, then will start powering on again and the engine is running a bit rich too. I am running a celsior engine and ECU i believe and ive looked at wiring diagrams and on the wiring diagrams it shows 2 speed sensors on the gearbox i only have 1 (R150F 4x4)so really here are my questions....

Does the speed sensor have to run through the ECU?
will it affect the running of the engine?
Is there a way to trick it so it doesnt need the speed sensor?

I still have the speedo and diagnosis to wire up. i am tring to figure out bugs.
I just need to know should i wait till the speedo and diagnosis are wired up before i start chasing engine power problems?

with mine, the standard dash loom was plugged in and into the box... speedo works... but not rev counter. (big black round plug on passenger side near the ariel

is ur rev counter working?

Maybe some kind of timing issue, does ECU needs calibration too? All cars are well equipped with these digital devices
