Wanted Required urgently. Water temp sender. '96 Soarer

I urgently require the water temperature sender that's located under the drivers side coil.

Part number on mine is 89462 20030

Like I said I need it pretty urgently. Am happy to pay for freight etc.

Go to any Toyota dealer. They are common to a few models of Toyota and they will most likely have them in stock.

New they are $320 and i'm only trying to faultfind an idle problem.
Looking for a cheap secondhand unit.

Well, if it is the water temp sensor (green colour) which sends the info to the ECU and affects idle etc, then it costs around $50 from Toyota. I bought one less than 2 weeks ago from Castle Hill Toyota in Sydney. Just found the box it came from, but the part No is different from what you've quoted. Mine is 89442-20010. The water temp guage sender is located next to it under the coil pack, so you may be looking at the wrong one, or you could have a different motor from mine, which is an early 90s LS400 or Celsior.

89642-20030 is the part number for the start injector timer switch. Water temp sender is part number 89422-20010 not 89442-20010
