removing a/c

is removing the a/c worth it?

this is in a offroad buggy so there will be no a/c so im thinking of removing it from the motor

does it make any hp differance..are you adding an idler pulley or just re routing the serpentine belt?

the only time the ac compressor effects your engine's power/economy is when it's on otherwise the ac belt clutch is disrngaged and free spins. But if you just want to get it out of there you can just remove it and use the shorter belt. do a search on here for "ac delete", and you will be able to figure out what belt you need.
