Quick Key Help!

So a while back my key for my '95 SC4 broke...well the keyless entry did anyway. I tossed the keys to a buddy of mine who completely whiffed and they hit the ground. Ever since then it hasn't worked and I have now taken the key apart(with our tech guy at work) to try and figure out why it isn't working. Anyone have any thoughts? Also does anyone know what frequency the key opperates on? It's a US spec if that makes a difference

I was looking for replacement keyless entry remotes not too long ago and I found a site that had them really cheap for my 96 SC and 99 ES.

I had them delivered in less than a week and the programming instructions only took maybe 10 seconds?
