I wasted an evening of my time yesterday pulling out the starter and testing it, as I couldn't for the life of me get the starter to kick in. I guess my battery is a lot more dead than expected + minor wiring issues...
I managed to remove it without pulling the harness or rear water bridge off, making the task much easier. Only took about an hour to remove it, and another hour to reassemble after testing.

The whole task wasn't forfeit though, I found a really nice pair of needle nose pliers in the V that i had been missing for months... :duh:
