Pick up LS400 today

Hi guys, some help if you can, im about to pick up the LS400 today that i have got for my swap, the guy im geting it of said it was running ok up untill 3 days ago, he got the car to do up but never had the time to do it, so all it has done in the past 6 months is about 20 feet in and out of the guys wrokshop! but he went to move it one day and it turnover but would not start.........what could it be, im thinking its just something todo with the(plugs-leads & coil/ignition


i would like your input guys ASAP, as to what you think it could be, so i can get the bits and take them with me to fit them to get it start. like i said i dont think its much......

the best thing i have found on any motor is always start with the basic's
make sure the batt didn't just drop a cell ,is it getting fuel is there a wire lose or missing, are the leads & plugs connected 9 times out of 10 its the easy things that are over looked.

try that easy stuff & see how you go like i said 9 times out of 10

Certainly start with the battery. Weak voltage will not start the V8.
